Jan is a registered nurse by trade and is still nursing part-time out of Invercargill. She lives in Five Rivers with her husband David, their two sons Angus and Duncan, plus a menagerie of pets including an Orpington chick named Marvin.
Jan loves exploring the outdoors and has previously worked on the Greenstone and Routeburn tracks. She is also pretty familiar with the Kepler track, having completed the Kepler challenge more than a dozen times!
